McKenzie has performed in several productions including The Sound of Music as a nun/postulant and multiple characters in Oliver for the Mid-Ohio Valley Players, Quilters the Musical, as understudy for Juliet in Romeo &: Juliet, and as Panacea in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She was makeup artist for Boom at Marietta College, and assisted with set construction on several other productions at the college.
