Parents and Guardians

To participate in the program, each student’s parents/guardians (or another adult of their choosing) will be required to commit to assist with:

  • a minimum of three workshops, rehearsals, dress rehearsals, or performances of their choosing as a parent monitor (to assist with the program's “two deep adult monitoring” requirement and to enhance their own theatre arts knowledge) or assist with the construction of props or costumes;

    and

  • a minimum of two set construction work sessions;

    and

  • the strike (dismantling) of the set at the end of the production.

No previous experience is required, and on the job training will be cheerfully provided.

This production contains scenes and language with adult content. A parent or guardian must sign a parental consent form before a student can audition. Once a student is cast, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver form and an emergency form before rehearsals begin. It is recommended that the synopsis of the production’s storyline and the waiver form are read prior to signing the consent form.
